Team MoH will be sharing it’s work at the Wellcome Collection on Saturday 23 February during the Build Up day, for art and activism. We’ll have a little space in the Studio that we’ll be sharing with long standing partners Focus E15, the Housing and Mental Health Network and the Blueprint Theatre.
We’ll be sharing Nico Vass’s amazing original illustrations that were created for the Focus E15 Homelessness, health and housing report two years ago. This report highlighted people’s stories, the shocking practices of local authorities and the devastating impacts of placing people out of their home borough. Nico’s vivid and striking illustrations were published in the report and bring life to these real-life situations that still continue today.
Drop by for a chat in the studio or get involved with other things happening on the day. There will be talks exploring injustices and inequalities created by our relationships with buildings, performances, workshops and films. The event is totally free an join us to reflect on the housing crisis, the politics of public spaces, and how all this affects our health, with activists, young people, academics and artists.
