We recently recruited for a freelance project coordinator to join the team from September 2020 to April 2021 to support delivery of the award winning Dying Homeless Project.

This project will focus on the period January 2020 to December 2020. The research will investigate deaths of people who are homeless with a particular focus on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. The contract is generously supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

About the Dying Homeless Project

The Dying Homeless Project is an award winning project initiated by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in 2017 and handed over to Museum of Homelessness in 2019. The project aims to capture far more detail on the people who have lost their lives than currently covered by official statistics. We aim to remember every single person who dies whilst homeless in the UK.

Our online memorial to people who have died homeless can be found here

    Hello MoH

I heard about this project last week from Carla at the outside project – I have met some of you working there. I’m aware the deadline for this has passed but I thought it would be worth asking if it had been filled yet.

I have exactly the expertise for this role, I have worked as a lead producer on many sensitive content projects across my media career and have been working closely with the outside project over COVID-19 and have a huge passion for this subject and the work you do.

Please let me know if you are still looking for leads on this and I will hopefully see you soon.

    All my best

    Hannah Dingle
