Our 2nd Death cafe event this year providing a safe and confidential space for people to talk about death takes place on 05 May 2021 (5.30pm – 7pm)
The event is free and you can book here
Homelessness touches people’s lives in different ways and sadly far too often we lose people. We hold these events as many people we work with have expressed a wish to have a space to talk about death and loss. Regular Dying Homeless death cafes will provide a space for us all to confidentially explore death and loss and remember people we have lost.
What can I expect?
An informal gathering of different people attending a safe and confidential space to talk about death and homelessness in a group. Our Death Cafes are free. They are not therapeutic but we can help with signposting to further support if people need it. Please note this space is non-religious and non-clinical. The space will be held by hosts from Museum of Homelessness.
We are basing these spaces on the Death Cafe model, you can find out more about death cafes here.
This is our 2nd online death cafe event, we will explore hosting in person events later in 2021 when lockdown has fully lifted .
How can I attend?
Anyone who registers will receive a link to attend the meeting on zoom. We will send these out to people who have registered in late January.
