19th April 2021 Jessica Turtle

Museum of Homelessness is delighted to announce our creative season for 2021 – Reframe the Narrative.

The season will run to March 2022 and is funded by the National Lottery Heritage fund.

Reframe the Narrative will document what happened in 2020 from the perspective of our communit (ies). We will make history together.

Watch this space for announcements on:

New artist commissions

New objects for our national collection for homelessness

A major new site specific immersive show

A new digital piece

Our next move:

We are kicking off the creative development for Reframe the Narrative on the streets, where we have spent much of the last 12 months in solidarity with people living outside.  Our first creative session for the season will take place on Saturday 24th April at St Giles in the Fields. Our pals at ShowerBox and Tricky Period, who have been there right through the pandemic, have said we can come and hang out. If you are homeless and want to get involved in this, or if you just want to come say hi, we will see you there!

If you have any questions about Reframe the Narrative, contact our producer Chloe chloe@museumofhomelessness.org
