Hi, I'm Nathan, I am the new museum manager at MOH and could not be more excited to be part of the team at this dynamic time. My whole career I have worked with the homeless community. Recently more specifically with LGBTQ / Queer homeless youth at akt who always positively challenged me and made me laugh. Alongside I volunteered with the community team at the British museum involving groups that may not always access or feel they belong in museum spaces. I was part of the award winning 'Mind in Camden tours' where people experiencing mental health would come to the tours in person and online ( during covid ). I also did a project with the Dulwich Picture gallery that was to get feedback from marginalised groups from the local areas at what barriers they face at museum/ art spaces and what voices were too loud and not heard in these spaces.

My role as manager means the smooth running of the museum, looking after the existing audience and bringing in new audiences. I want to make everyone feel welcome in the space, to challenge peoples ideas of the homeless community as well as celebrating the community.

The new site to me will be bold, informative and fun but also an experience that stays with someone after they left. A community space that is forever changing that ensures visitors a different experience each time they visit.

My wider vision for MOH is to have the museum online and accessible to everyone that physically can't get there and internationally.

Finally I would like to add ' many a mickle makes a muckle'
