Commemoration Service at St Martin-in-the-Fields

Yesterday was a profoundly moving day where at least 600 people grieved collectively at St Martin in the Fields for people who died whilst homeless in London in the last 12 months.

Thanks so much to everyone who attended and to all who contributed to making the service so special.

In these pics you can see Kollier din Bangura and Revd Richard Carter who invited Kollier to make this installation on the altar which was incredibly powerful. Please check out and support Kollier's work, he is a talent to watch.

In Pic 2 you can see our powerhouse Surfing Sofas and Camilo Tirado who performed the poem Till the Day we Meet Again. This poem was commissioned as part of Surfing Sofas residency at MoH in 2023 and is simply beautiful.

Thank you to all who have come together to grieve our London community many of whom have died far, far too young. 🙏🕯

We mourn our dead and we fight like hell for the living
