MoH in Taiwan

Its a great honour for MoH co-founders to be invited guests of Do you a flavor to speak at their 10th anniversary forum Through the Cracks in Taipei.

The first 48 hours of arrival have involved:

Visiting and meeting with the Vice President and commissioners at the Taiwanese National Commission on Human Rights

Participating in the forum

Visiting shelters, the streets and meeting people with experience of homelessness

Meeting people from the Taiwanese Big Issue and the founder of taipei Unseen Tours

Meeting the people who did the first ever street count in Singapore and resulted in the govt to start counting.

Meeting and exchanging learning with colleagues from Singapore, the Philipines, Japan, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan. We have learned about grassroots housing, homelessness and poverty resistance and solidarity movements in each place and shared the work of MoH.

We are repping the UK at this and its a significant honour.

The contexts are different but the solidarity is the same everywhere.  ❤️‍🔥
