New State of the Nation Blog and Videos launched!

Object storytelling

MoH marks three months since State of the Nation with the launch of it’s new video platform and blog! We are also delighted to be part of our final event for Raw Truths this Saturday.

State of the Nation on Screen
MoH is delighted to be able to release four object stories made with renowned film maker Dorothy Allen-Pickard. The objects were shown at State of the Nation and show our storytellers recounting the powerful stories of the hat, asbo, health card and naloxone in the words of the donor.

Jimmy’s Corner
In response to major events and in memory of our former trustee, colleague and friend Jimmy Carlson OBE, MoH has launched Jimmy’s Corner – a blog platform for thoughts and opinions on homelessness today. Our first article offers a three month reflection on events since State of the Nation at Tate Modern.

Raw Truths Wrapping up
MoH is delighted to be taking part in the Home Truths symposium in our final event for the Raw Truths season! Titled ‘What can theatre do about housing’ MoH is one of a number of activists, artists, lobbyists and arts organisations who will be considering the role of theatre and the arts in combating the housing crisis.
