Short guide to inquests for bereaved families launched

Responding to increasing deaths of homeless people, Museum of Homelessness has teamed up with Garden Court North, Inquest, Greater Manchester Law Centre, Ison Harrison and Shelter to publish a short guide to inquests.

We are responding to the fact that the deaths of people who are homeless are rising in number year on year. We know that the system can be confusing, especially if people are grieving a loved one. We hope that this guide helps. It marks the beginning of justice focused work we are doing with the above organisations in the North to tackle and reduce deaths of homeless people, especially those who are dying due to failings in accommodation provision.

You can download the guide here Inquests – a short guide for bereaved families.
