Taking Back Control
Taking Back Control
MoH is taking part in a packed line-up of spoken word, poetry and activist presentations on 06 September at the NINES in Peckham from 7.30pm.
Taking Back Control is a bimonthly arts night that tackles social and political issues that look to inspire action. Organised by theatre company COMPLEX, each event is open to activists, comedians, poets, theatre makers and anyone with something to shout about. The nights are also accompanied by a zine which helps to create a legacy, providing additional information and a way for audience to stay engaged long after they leave the venue.
With the future of so many people – not least those affected by homelessness – uncertain, MoH will be focusing on post-Brexit issues sharing stories from our state of the Nation campaign.
All funds are going towards supporting Spires – the South London charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round.
