Vote for us to win Project of the Year!
Museum of Homelessness has been shortlisted for the National Lottery Project of the Year! These awards celebrate the inspirational people and projects who do extraordinary things with the help of National Lottery Funding, in our case it was National Lottery Heritage Funding.
Voting is now open and closes on 07 October. You can vote for us directly on the Awards pages of the National Lottery website!
Thank you to our mystery nominator who put us forward for this incredible award.
About our nomination
We are delighted to be recognised for our work in the pandemic where, working with our taskforce partners, we petitioned and campaigned for the government to house people affected by homelessness Londoners in empty hotel rooms during lockdown.
We were shortlisted out of more than 1300 nominated organisations to reach the public voting stage in this year’s National Lottery Awards, which celebrate the inspirational people and projects who do extraordinary things with the help of National Lottery funding.
There are 17 shortlisted finalists from across the UK, all of which will compete in a four-week public vote from 7th September to 7th October to be named the National Lottery Project of the Year. Winners will receive a £5,000 cash prize for their project and an iconic National Lottery Awards trophy.
Co-founder Matt said:
“Every vote for Museum of Homelessness is a vote which says people care about the struggles our community is facing in this time of crisis. Thank you to everyone who plays The National Lottery for your support!”
