We are reopening for our Spring Summer season TODAY

…and these are the stars of the show

Today at the museum, to mark our reopening after the long winter we will be sharing 9 stories and testimonies which we have collected alongside these precious objects from the community since 2017. Each one is a different story of homelessness.

Our selection for today is:

The Pot

The Baccy

The Memorial Card

The ASBO

The Black Plastic Bag

The Naloxone

The Picture

Fred’s Trolley

The Cardboard Box

These object sharings will be presented by Nell Hardy.

Director Matt Turtle, who leads on our collections work said “Our objects are coming out of hibernation today after a winter of community action and we are so excited to share the collection with the public and reopen the museum. No one story is the same and each object has a lot to teach us.”

We are almost fully booked but have a few free places left. Head here to book Visit the Museum of Homelessness Tickets | Multiple Dates @ Manor House Lodge, London | FREE | OutSavvy
