Winter at Museum of Homelessness

January is tough for people experiencing homelessness! We respond as a community with plenty of good food, hot chocolate, art and supplies.

We are running our emergency cold weather shelter in the museum and providing as much help as we can.

We are also deep into plotting our next exhibition and we’re running creative curatorial sessions every Thursday. We’ve commissioned artists to make new work and we can’t wait to open this exhibition in May.

Our garden crew are planning a cutting garden and tending to our frozen pond and plants.

January is a month where we take care of each other, of the site and we plan for warmer months.
