Museum of Homelessness National Vigil for people who died whilst homeless in 2025 took place on 15th October opposite Downing Street.
Thank you to Lucinda MacPherson for the photos featured in this post.
Thank you to all who attended and to the people who read the names of our loved ones known and unknown.
Thank you to our Patron the Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam who led a prayer for the people we were grieving and for the people who were there.
Thank you to our Poet in Residence Surfing Sofas who contributed two poems. One about grief and one about solidarity, which pretty much sums up the Vigil.
We stood together in grief, remembering those we have lost with love.
We mourn our dead and we fight for the living.
